Masudi has written in Asbatul Wasiyya:
They besieged him and burnt down the door of his house and
brought him out of the house forcibly and crushed the chief of the ladies of
the world behind the door, leading to the miscarriage of Mohsin.[1]
Taqiuddin Subaki, in the book, Tabaqatush Shafiya has
mentioned his name in the list of scholars of Shafeite school of thought. Therefore,
it definitely disproves that he was a Shia.[2]
